During 2020, President Trump made it near impossible to admit immigrants into the country. It started from travel bans to making it hard for family members to petition for green cards. Cutting the number of immigrants really began to impact our country; many visa holders who were hired to work in the US were banned from coming in which affected many companies. Trump even made it to where immigrants were not counted during last year’s census.
What would the country really looked like if immigrants did not exist in the United States? Well, it’s a question that no one will probably ever know the answer too. The United States consists of immigrants from all the around the world. The United States is a country of opportunity and country many seek for safety. Immigration will never stop and we are hopeful the Biden administration is able to figure out an immigration system in which will benefit immigrants without hurting America.
