U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services has officially announced the expansion of myProgress (formerly known as personalized processing times) to encompass Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, and Form I-131, Application for Travel Document.
myProgress now offers applicants, through their online accounts, personalized estimates for key milestones in their case, including the ultimate decision on their application. While these estimates draw on historical case patterns with similar specifics, they are not a guaranteed timeframe, may not encompass all potential unique processing delays, and might provide either an over- or underestimation of the actual processing time.
In addition to Form I-765 and Form I-131, myProgress is available for applicants with a USCIS online account filing Form N-400, Application for Naturalization; Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card; or Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative.
To access estimated case timelines, applicants are required to create a USCIS online account or log in and select their pending application. If they have e-filed or linked one of the relevant forms to their online account using an online access code, they will find a myProgress tab for their application. This tab provides the estimated wait time until their case reaches a decision, accompanied by checkmarks for three milestones as they are accomplished:
- Confirmation of application receipt.
- Completion of the required biometric services appointment (if applicable).
- Decision on the pending case.
Applicants are still encouraged to visit the public Check Case Processing Times webpage to determine eligibility for filing an Outside of Normal Processing Times service request.
