Effective November 13, 2023, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is shifting the filing location for Form I-907, Request for Premium Processing, when submitted alongside Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers, from service centers to the USCIS lockbox. This change aims to enhance efficiency by reducing the footprint at service centers, embracing digital processes, and cutting costs.
For newly filed Forms I-140 submitted concurrently with Form I-907, the filing location transition will occur on November 13. However, this adjustment doesn't apply to Form I-907 submissions for currently pending Form I-140 or when filing Form I-140 with associated applications like Form I-765, Form I-131, or Form I-485. USCIS will announce filing location changes for these forms soon, but for now, they should be directed to the service centers, as indicated on the Direct Filing Addresses for Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker page.
From November 13, use the provided addresses when mailing Form I-140 and Form I-907 together. Any Form I-907 filed with Form I-140 received at the previous service center address after December 13 will be rejected by USCIS lockboxes.
