Kristen has extensive experience with naturalization, adjustment of status, family petitions, and consular processing. She began her career in immigration law as an Immigration Services Officer at the USCIS Seattle Field Office, where she worked in Information Services and then as an adjudicator of family-based immigration petitions and applications. After leaving USCIS, Kristen worked for refugee resettlement agencies in Seattle, helping refugees and asylees obtain permanent residency, U.S. citizenship, and immigrant visas for their families.

Kristen received her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center, and her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Crime and Delinquency Studies from the University of Kansas. She obtained her Washington State Bar License in 2004, and has practiced immigration law since 2008.
